It does the job – so you can go do yours.Use Exiland Backup Professional to prevent critical data loss from viruses, PC breakdowns, unwanted changes, HDD crushes, and other threats. I think you'll find we have the broadest application support of any backup as a service vendor, with transparent pay-as-you-go pricing, and phenomenal customer support (verified NPS of 89). We do all of this at usually half the TCO of competing solutions. You get all of this without having to size, purchase, maintain, or secure any backup servers. We also support MS365, G-Suite, and Salesforce. We support VMware, AWS, Hyper-V, and AHV (Nutanix) natively, and Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, Androd & other IaaS vendors via agents. We support sub-20-minute DR of VMware and AWS environments. If you want an on-prem copy, we can make that happen too you just need to provide the storage. Your backups are always encrypted and stored offsite, and there are always three copies of it (thank you, S3). If you have more than a few dozen TBs, Druva has an effortless and complimentary seeding service to get your first backup done. Restores from the cloud are very fast in fact, we often win head-to-head restore bake-offs with competitors.

You simply install the right connector in the right place, or authenticate us to the SaaS or IaaS services you want to backup, and the rest happens. If, on the other hand, you choose a cloud-based data protection service like Druva, you will not have to purchase or maintain any backup servers or storage. Most of these vendors do offer solutions to these challenges, but each comes with an increased cost, complexity, and risk. Many companies have had their backups encrypted or exfiltrated and deleted because they were stored on an on-prem backup server. If you do the former (A), you must pay for and maintain two backup systems, while also protecting them from the ever-present cyber and ransomware attacks – some of which are now directly targeting your backups. If using a backup appliance or on-prem backup software, complying with the 3-2-1 rule without tape requires replicating at least one copy of backups into (A) a second system that you must purchase & maintain, or (B) into an object storage system like S3. Rather than simply bash competitors, I like to differentiate what they do from what Druva does. Sadly, though, I haven't recommended tape for well over 10 years due to the issues associated with shoe-shining. It offers the air gap feature that can be hard to duplicate without a solid plan. I am also a fan of tape, having done a lot of work with it over the years. Having said that, I stand by everything below. I'm also the chief technical evangelist for Druva, the only at-scale cloud-based data protection as a service.
